Is the course Wheelchair friendly?

The 42.195km Nike Marathon allows elite Wheelchair athletes to compete in racing wheelchairs only. Please note, if you wish to participate in a racing Wheelchair, you are required to register in the Wheelchair Marathon Event which starts at 7:55am.

If you are competing in an standard wheelchair, participants can also register in the Marathon, Half Marathon, 10km, 5km or 2.5km walk as they are all Wheelchair friendly courses. Participants should register through the usual event portal.
