Can I transfer my registration to a friend?

We understand that plans change, which is why we’re offering flexible options for our runners through the official Nike Melbourne Marathon Festival Transfer Period, open from 1 August to 15 August.

If you’re no longer able to participate, you can transfer your registration to a friend or family member easily and securely through our official registration platform, ACTIVE.

Important:
All transfers must be processed through ACTIVE within this window. There is strictly no other way to transfer a registration. 
If someone is requesting your payment or personal details outside of this platform – it’s not valid, and it’s not safe. Please don’t engage.

Outside of this transfer window, as stated in the registration terms and conditions, under no circumstance are you permitted to give your bib to another person. Name changes are strictly not permitted. If you cannot compete in the event, you must complete a Withdraw Application Form to withdraw from the event.
